Today, for those who follow with particular interest from Apple today, see ads like these can not produce anything but a healthy envy.

In the coming weeks will release an Apple I through eBay, one of the top 200 computers manufactured by Apple and specifically by Steve Wozniak with his own hands.

These teams came to light in July 1976 at a price of 666.66 dollars. And now estimated to be no more than fifty teams, which makes them an authentic collector’s item valued between 14,000 and 16,000 dollars.

We will, when offered for sale as they end up paying for it. Of course, for the seller is a good deal more economical even for sentimental own an Apple I is something that is priceless.

A few days the implementation of eBay for our iPhone was updated to version 1.4.0, with a handful of interesting news and that set the tone for what may be the applications that are to come. The main feature that we are push notifications to alert us when someone bid higher than ours, or when a product is nearing the end of one of the auctions that we are following, and may set the time before we want to be notified .

Another development, also very interesting is the possibility of making payments through PayPal from the application itself, so that we can say that it is possible to make the whole process of buying on eBay just to this application from our iPhone.

The official list of characteristics of the application is:

  • Optimized for iPhone OS 3.0
  • Support payments through PayPal integrated
  • Push notifications for outbid and auctions that we are following.
  • Opinions on a recent seller
  • Search items
  • Search alerts

In this way, eBay has become a mobile application that has the benefit from the Push Notifications, a long-awaited by many, but currently little exploited by developers. The application is available for download (link opens iTunes), is 1.5MB and is free.
